E-mail notifications

How often do you send out email notifications?

By default we send email notifications regarding potential inbound traffic every day to an email defined in the registration process. You can change the default email in the E-mail notifications section under Manage websites & users section.

How can I disable or change the frequency of email notifications?

I signed up and realized that my credit card was charged $1.

You have not been charged. Our 3rd party payment gateway provider Paylane is using a money reservation method for $1 to check if the credit card is valid. After a week this reservation is cancelled automatically.

Do I have to sign any agreement in order to use Colibri?

No, You just have to accept our terms of service. There is no additional agreement needed.

Am I committed to anything after signing up for the free trial?

You can sign up and test our tool free for 14 days, after which you will be charged as per chosen subscription plan. You can cancel anytime.

I’d like to sign up but none of the plans suits my needs.

We are offering Custom Plans to long-term subscribers; just contact us directly at help@colibritool.com.

Can I get an invoice for my subscription payment?

Of course. Just contact us directly @ help@colibritool.com.

Can I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account by clicking Cancel account link.

Can I get a refund?

The Service is billed in advance on a monthly basis and is non-refundable. There will be no refunds or credits for partial months of service, upgrade/downgrade refunds, or refunds for months unused with an open account. In order to treat everyone equally, no exceptions will be made.

Can I get a discount?

We do not offer discounts for the regular (monthly) payment plan, but we would be happy to offer you a special price for a long-term subscription. Just contact us at help@colibritool.com.

 

Gathering, processing and exporting data

How often are my website positions being checked?

All the website positions are being checked every 24 hours. Additionally when you add a new phrase for the first time it is being queued in our system for early checking. It usually takes between 4 and 10 minutes.

Colibri reports different results than those obtained when checking the search engine manually. Why is that?

a. Your search engine provides customized results based on your location (IP address) when you’re logged into your Google+ or Gmail account, based on your Web history.

b. Google is testing a new algorithm on users. Because of this some of the results you’re getting might be different from other users’ results.

There are sometimes big variations in the position of my website. Why?

This is caused as search engines change the positions of websites multiple times per day (because they’re testing new algorithms or simply testing the how your website is clickable).

Do you remove historical data after a while?

We keep all your data on our server for 12 months. Backup copies are made every day.

How long does it take for my first results to appear?

It usually takes about 3–4 minutes, but it can sometimes take up to 10 minutes.

Do you have provide country-specific results?

Yes. You can monitor your results in more than 150 local Google, Bing and Yandex search engines.

Google Analytics has been showing a “not provided” message for some time now. Is Colibri showing this data?

Unfortunately not. As of now, there is no tool that can resolve this problem.

Are the keyword limits overall, or per website?

All limits are overall values.

Can I personalize my reports?

We offer white-label reports for the business plans. You can add your company logo, which will appear on the report.

How can I export my reports?

You can download your reports as PDF or HTML files in the reports section.

Can I delete some keywords? Are they still being counted in the total number of keywords?

You can delete single keywords or a whole group of keywords. We will, of course, stop counting them in your overall number of keywords used.
